**>> SPYNET BULLETIN **>> EARTHDATE 95.02.18 **>> AN H-by-A SERVICE **>> Compiled by Hazed plus a team of specialist newsdroids **>> your news and gossip and get paid good groats! **>> BUG FIX An annoying but persistant little bug that made the game crash when Traders used the C PRICE command in the wrong place has now been fixed. There will be no new code going into Aries Fed for a few weeks. The TechDroid needs to upgrade the operating system on the Fed computer before he can do the next batch of programming. **>> PINK JACUZZI We fear Diesel is regretting having installed the lovely ornate fountain in the centre of CDs. Drunken patrons keep falling in and having to be fished out by waitdroids before they drown, for a start. But the main problem is that a certain spiny rodential Host-type person has taken to using the fountain as her own private hot-tub, and her dead spines keep clogging up the drains! Three times in the last week, the outlet has become blocked and the fountain overflowed all over the bar. And do you have any idea how much plumbers charge when they are called out in the middle of the night? **>> DUFF MODEM RAIDED ON SUSPICION OF SMUT Two people were arrested in a police raid of the Duff Modem bar early yesterday morning. Police had been tipped off earlier in the week that orgies and other deviant debaucheries were being organized from the pub. Police stormed the uncrowded establishment from all sides, crashing through doors and windows in their haste. Unfortunately, there was an innocent couple engaged in some intense snogging and groping, which the authorities mistook for a full-fledged orgy. Charges against the young couple (who have asked to remain anonymous) were later dropped and they were released from custody. Police are still on the lookout for the true propagators of corruption. **>> SCALING NEW PLANETS! A hesitant newsdroid finally made up its well-balanced mind to have a glance at Libra, Briefcase's new planet. The things revealed there offered such a view, that the droid did not want to leave! This planet is, on the whole, an educating experience that takes one deep into the core of the planet to reveal just why - or why not, as the case may be - workthings on Libra are producing far more than they should. Having heard the tale of Briefcase as a possible vampire, visiting his planet will shine a different light as to where all of those missing bodies have got up and walked off to. Nasty experiments have been conducted; and as an entree, well... Visiting this remarkable planetoid will also enlighten interested parties in the true makings of a planet's economy. A tour around its agricultural dome is one of the (remarkable?) features presented. Please, no butting in queue, everyone will get the chance to experience the tour. Twice! Well, that is if for some strange reason you would want to. Please, those sentients wanting to explore Libra ought to not be directionally challenged. One absolutely MUST know their south from their north. Or rather, know the planet's south from its north! And have fun exploring this grand planet! **>> SPYNET REVIEW Alas, poor Duchesse Aja. She took her own life, having been spurned by all of her many lovers. Must have been some horrible conspiracy between them! Congratulations to all those who were promoted during the past week: Blaise and Lukas were the new Captains. Brain and Flacon joined the Traders Guild and then went on to make Merchant. Kirchansky is now Thane of Akumu. The winners of the Tungsten Tourist Trap Trophy were Cove, Bliss (three times), Tamayo and Libra (twice). **>> CONTACTS The following information will appear at the end of every News Bulletin, so you don't have to read it if you already know it.
