Longevity build - science means you never have to get old.

Longevity

Description:
Longevity uses anti-agathic drugs - a combination of nano- and bio-technology - to extend the lifetimes of the population. It is something of a mixed blessing for economies. It increases the size of the working population, but if it is not available universally, it breeds jealousy and disaffection amongst those who don't have access to the technology.

Effects:
Universal access to longevity will cause an increase equal to the basic working population (in other words, it adds a bonus of 100%). For universal access, one longevity program is required for each 50 productive workers, or part thereof, in the base population. Partial access causes a 2% increase is disaffection for each missing point, and does not increase the population.

Duration:
Longevity programs can be built at leisure levels and above.


Notes:
For every 100 workers above the base level of 1,000 there is a 1 point increase in the consumption of all consumer goods.
The population will not increase incrementally as you build, but will increase by 100% at the next reset after you complete the final build necessary for universal coverage.

Command:
'BUILD LONGEVITY'. You can remove the build with 'DEMOLISH LONGEVITY'.
