IS LAIR'S POWER BASE GROWING?

Following a tip from sources within the Galactic Administration scientific community about unusual gravity well readings in the Secret system, I went to investigate what appeared to be an abnormally high usage of the link into and out of Secret.

Upon arriving on Lair, and talking to some of the many pirates and smugglers that seem to frequent the world (all of whom spoke off the record for fear of retribution), it has come to the attention of this reporter that Lair's battle fleet, the Necrotic Armada, was recently seen departing the Secret system. According to these sources, the Necrotic Armada was fully manned, armed and ready for battle. It is rumored that Necrose, Overlord of Lair, has funded and backed a plan of action that would result in the overthrow of a distant planet. There is no conclusive evidence to show where the armada is headed, but it has been rumored that it is heading to the system of Elimisto, and ultimately, the planet Tipple. It seems that Necrose and Lynnea have teamed up with the goal of increasing the power and influence of Lair for reasons that are as yet unknown.

The Star plans to send a reporter to Tipple to follow this story, if the Necrotic Armada does indeed go there. We will keep you updated as the situation unfolds.
