ON THE WEB: THE NORTH POLE WEB CAM
Want to know what's going on at the North Pole? Then head off to the North Pole Web Cam site. Sure, the pictures often don't show anything except white, or grey, but you never know when something interesting might happen. Anyway, there's an archive of more exciting pictures that are worth looking at.
What interests me here is not so much the pictures themselves, as the fact that the web cam is there at all. It's a great use of the technology, and I like the fact that somebody bothered to do this.
