ON THE WEB: THE SIZE OF OUR WORLD
How big is Earth in comparison to the other planets in the Solar System? How big are the planets, compared to the sun? And what about other stars in the Galaxy - how does our sun compare to them? There may be many web sites that give these sizes in numbers, but lists of figures are not that easy to grasp. So what we need is a visual representation that allows us to see at a glance the relative sizes of all these celestial bodies.
