WHILE WE WERE AWAY - NEW STUFF FOR POs

While the newsdroids were away recharging their batteries - in some cases, literally! - Bella put two new commands into the game for planet owners.

The 'DI FACTORIES' command allows POs to check up on the factories on your planet. It tells you their status (whether they are running or not), where the output is set, and the efficiency. You must be on your planet to use the command. Thanks to Lynnea for requesting this command - see, we do sometimes act on your suggestions!

POs can get a list of the owners of ships registered on your planets with 'DI FLEET'. You must be on your planet to use the command. Since building up a merchant fleet does good things to the efficiency of your planet, planet owners should be out there trying to persuade people to come and patronise your ship yard rather than anybody else's - and so you need to know who already has a ship bought on your world. No point nagging someone to do something, when they've already done it!

Apart from these two commands, over the past few weeks Bella has been turning her attention to the promotion requirements for the next rank, which is Engineer. She should have made her final decisions by next weekend, so we'll be able to tell you the requirements in the next issue of the Star.
