WEDDING BELLS

Fed2 is a wonderful community made up of people from around the world. We get together, play and chat, and make friends that we normally would never have met in any other situation. We become very close, celebrating real life births and deaths, and comfort each other when our family is sick or in need. We cheer on our friends when they accomplish wonderful things, and hug each other when tragedy strikes.

This week, one of our own finally got married. We first came to know Djentsch in Fed2 while he was serving his country in Iraq. Whether you agree or disagree with the war on terror, you have to respect the men and women that put their lives on the line on a daily basis. We rejoiced with Djentsch on his way home from Iraq a little over a year ago, and grieved with him when he was unable to marry his beloved Marina later on that year in Korea. We cried with him when he received word of his return to Iraq, coming all too soon for a man that had already served there once.

Now it is time for us to rejoice with him once again, as it gives me great pleasure to announce his marriage to his Russian love, Marina. In a simple ceremony in Korea on Monday, he and his beloved were wed. This comes not too soon for him, as he will soon be back in Iraq to serve his country once again. Congratulations Djentsch, and be sure to keep that girl happy... I've heard that those Russian girls don't take any crap from you Army boys!
