GEEK TOY: THE RECHARGING SOLAR BACKPACK

If you don't fancy pedal power to keep your iPod working, how about solar power? Eclipse Solar Gear is a company that sells carrying cases and backpacks fitted with Solar panels, designed to charge up the batteries of electronic devices such as cell phones, GPS units, iPods and PDAs. This is a really great idea, although I'm not sure how well it would work in England where the sunshine can be a bit scarce, particularly at this time of year!
