ROLE-PLAYING CLASS

I am always hearing people talk about how bored they are. It's something I have trouble understanding, because there are so many exciting things to do which can be found right in Sol space. I'm not just talking about the bars, although there are so many exciting and varied bars in Sol you could keep yourself entertained for ages just throwing a party in each one. You could drink alone, but it's more fun to drink with friends. You could even rotate who is hosting each night, and add more variety that way.

But there are other things besides the bars. You have the puzzles, which at the moment are the Magellan Quest and the Graveyard puzzle. (There are a few on player planets as well, but we'll stick to Sol for this discussion.) Otter mentioned he likes getting thrown out of the ladies' loo on Earth. Ok, how many of you didn't know the loos were so exciting? The Toilet on Sumatra is a lot of fun as well, with a working sink and toilet which can be heard in the next room. There's also an announcement if you don't wash your hands. Just be careful, because the Sumatra Water Authority monitors the water usage and you might find your face on wanted posters. Ahem...

Zand had a really interesting question that I hope someone tries to learn the answer: What happens if you get onto the Venus Shuttle and never get off?? Do you remain there at reset? Heheh, that'll keep you amused for a while.

There are also fountains that you can play in, trees you can climb, sportsters and horses you can ride, dumpsters you can climb into, and any number of role-play objects around Sol to keep you entertained. There is also the Wilderness on Earth, the Bungee Jump on Earth, and the Ski Slopes on Titan. (Let's all thank Hazed for these fascinating new toys she's given us. And bug her for bumper cars.) When was the last time you held a conversation with a mobile? Or played a game of Lucky Louie?

Fed is more than hauling or watching exchange levels rise and fall. Fed is a social game. So I encourage everyone to "get social" this week. Throw parties, explore, and, PLAY THE GAME EVENTS. Fed has an event team that hosts several gaming events every week. But it's no fun to play games by yourself, and most are designed so the more who play, the more fun they are. Staff members are playing again, so come out and beat Fancy, or me, or Gwaptiva, or even the mouse (everyone can beat the mouse). Most important of all, have fun, and make Fed fun for everyone else at the same time.
