ROLE-PLAY CLASS

Sunday, March 4
by Catspaws

Have you ever noticed when someone comes into the room, there will often be something witty preceding their name? This is called their MOOD, and is an important role-play tool the Fed goddess (you know who she is, right?) has given us. I mention this, because oddly enough, the students gathering for class this week DIDN'T HAVE MOODS. Why? Are you not a moody bunch? Are you boycotting moods? You don't go out in public without your underwear (unless you're that ancient earthling named Britney Spears), so why would you go out without your mood? ESPECIALLY if you're going to the role-play class? Hmmph!!!

Now that I've got that out of my system....

As I mentioned in the Star last week, the role-play forums at http://www.icatz.com/fed2/ was infested with spammers, so infested I had to wipe them completely - that or spend several of my nine lives removing posts selling things I could never use, or want to use. As a precaution against future spammers, Lynnea has password protected the site. To view the site, you must use the login fed2roleplay and the password catspaws. Note that these are NOT the same as your forums password which you received when you registered.

I would like to take a moment to note that we had a couple of new and fun role-players attend the class. Maiza and Sephorin, it was a pure joy. Thank you for giving us all a chance to witness your role-play skills in action. I could play with the two of you for hours and never get bored.

During the class Occy brought up the fact that we cannot manage our planetary economies unless we are on our planets. I have to admit, this is a real roleplay-killer, because most of the time, we hang out on our own little worlds. It's not conducive to socialization, but it's up to us to find ways to work around our limitations. It has been ages since we had a good party, and we're long overdue. So we will be doing a pub crawl on Sunday, March 11 at 7.00pm eastern. (It was planned for Friday, the 9th, but I had to reschedule.) We will start the crawl at the Hair of the Dog on Catseye (in, out, west) and continue until the last person crawls home.
