THREE NEW CHARACTER AND THREE NEW PLANET PICTURES

There's a bunch of new pictures you can download and add to your various FedTerm folders so you can see what Fed folk and their planets look like.

First up, there's three new images in the gallery for character pictures:

• Ariadne is a pretty female human - I don't know if the blue hair is natural or a dye-job, or perhaps she's been gene sculpted.
• Zardoz is a male deosian who looks like an old man seen through a mist. Maybe it's a soft-focus picture!
• Zodraz is a male niasoed who appears quite rough and tough - no soft-focus here.

Download the pictures by right-clicking on them and selecting Save As... and put them into the pictures sub-folder of your FedTerm folder.

In the planet picture gallery there are also three new pictures, and this time people have taken to heart my comment that it doesn't have to show your planet from orbit:

• Cumulus, in the Cloud system, shows a cloudscape which is kind of what you would expect.
• Candlepin, in the Sports system, shows a bowling alley
• Tenpin, in the Bowling system, shows a very pleasant woodland scene with nary a skittle in sight

Grab these pictures and put them into the Fedterm\planets folder.

If you want to let other people see what you, or your planet, looks like, you should make a picture to show us and mail it to feedback@ibgames.com. Character pictures are 80 pixels wide by 96 high; planet pictures are 172 pixels square. Both should be in .bmp format. Character pictures should be named after your character, ie pugwash.bmp or newbod.bmp. Planet pictures should have a filename to match the planet name, ie marina.bmp or rigel 4.bmp.
