Recenty Chrysoberyl authorities were able to clear away enough of the debris cluttering Chrysoberyl space to allow safe passage to the planet of Litterbox, and I am now happy to be able to hang upside down from my scratching post once again. From this invigorating vantage point, I was able to watch as more and more Engineers achieved the much-awaited promotion to the rank of Mogul. To celebrate this event, this week's puzzles centered around these new Moguls. As an added bonus, I invited the players to join me on my Scratching Post to play.
Ariadne was the first to decipher the first puzzle, followed by Davidh, Fancy and Butters. Squeeky showed up and figure out four of the names in the puzzle. It was quite a change to see TWO people solve a puzzle before Fancy.

Since the rank of Mogul centers around all things Industrial, the second puzzle was (I thought) a simple one about the Industrial commodities. Fancy, Ariadne, Davidh and Butters deciphered the list with minimal effort.

I was worried the players were getting complacent, so I had them pull up the DI SYSTEMS scroll (isn't it yummily long?) to pull out the names of systems owned by new moguls. Ariadne, Butters and Davidh all solved this puzzle before Fancy! (Yes, folks, I do think the galaxy might be in trouble!)

Just to prove they could do it again, Ariadne and Davidh beat Fancy to the punch on the next puzzle (?!) with Butters finishing behind Fancy.

In our final, "Think Like the Kitty" puzzle, Fancy, Davidh and Ariadne proved they could think like me, and many said they actually prefer puzzles like this one.

Davidh came in second, in a TIE WITH FANCY.
