REAL LIFE NEWS: DUMB CRIMS GO FOR THE WRONG TARGET

by Hazed

Don't you just love it when you read about thieves that pick on the wrong person - a mugger that tries to roll a judo expert, for example, and gets more than he bargained for. It really is poetic justice.

A wonderful example of this was in a much-reported story last week about the two men who put on masks and picked up machetes in order to commit a crime. They burst into a club in Sydney, Australia, expecting to intimidate the clientele and staff into handing over the cash from the registers. But boy, did they choose the wrong bar, or at least the wrong night, because the place was full of bikers!

Needless to say, the bikers fought back, using tables, chairs, and pretty much anything that wasn't nailed down. At the end of the fracas, one of the dumb crims was tied up and the other was injured enough to need hospital treatment. Both were then arrested by police.

You can read more about this stupid pair, who ignored all the bikes parked outside the club as they barged in to commit their crime, in numerous news reports like this one from CNN, where there is also a great picture of the Southern Cross Cruiser Club, the bikers who fought off the intruding robbers.
