It's Party Time
Following the fun of the player organized event, Fed2 Taboo, the players have decided to get more ambitious. Meteu, Angelfowl and friends invite you to the Morph Bar on Phobos at 4.00pm eastern next Saturday, June 7 for a fancy-dress party, so get dressed up and come along to show off your spiffing outfit. The best costume will win a slithy tove.
The party will also have games, including another session of Fed2 Taboo, and will finish off with a bar crawl. Don't miss it!
Fed2 Taboo to become a regular Event
Speaking of Fed2 Taboo, the success of this event, which was organized by Jewells, has led to calls from delighted players that it should become a regular event on the calendar. We agree, and we're discussing the best day and time for it - more news soon.
Economics Classes broaden their topics
Although the economics classes that Catspaws has been running have been very successful, players have been asking for training sessions on other topics as well as planetary economics. So the classes, which are held on Sundays at 10.00pm eastern, are being broadened to include a range of topics. Some of them will deal with the economic issues that affect other ranks, such as futures trading, and running a successful company. But there's more to Fed than economics, and one of the things we anticipate players will be really interested in is some classes about planet design.
Catspaws intends to run classes covering all aspects of planet design, from coming up with the initial idea to use as the theme for your planet, to the technical aspects of using the Workbench to draw your map.
Tonight, the topic of the training class is Developing Ideas for Your New Planet, so come along and learn at the furry feet of the feline.
