HELP US TO PROMOTE FED2

by Hazed

We need new players to keep Fed2 alive, but a complete lack of money means we cannot afford to pay for adverts or a big glossy marketing campaign. That's why we try hard to keep up our profile on The Mud Connector site, and why we keep on nagging you to vote for us.

Voting every day is very important, but you can do more to help get new blood into the game. Here's a few suggestions.

1) Tell Your Friends. You must have friends outside of Fed DataSpace - schoolmates, work colleagues, those you socialize with in the real world. Tell them about Fed2, show them the game, explain why you love it so much, and maybe one or two of them will get hooked too.

2) Find Your Old AOL Friends. If you played classic Fed when it was on AOL you must have made loads of friends in the game. Are you still in touch with any of them? Maybe they don't realize Fed is still running on the internet. Drop them an email and tell them, and make sure they know the game is now free. We've put some text you can use up on the web, so you can just cut n paste it into an email. Get it here.

3) Blog About Fed. Do you have a presence on the web - a blog, a home page, a page on FaceBook or MySpace or any other social network site? If you do, make sure there's a big mention of Fed2 there, with a link back to the game's home page at http://www.ibgames.net. Plus, we give you permission to use some of the Fed2 graphics on your page, so long as it's used to advertise the game - you can download a package here. And if you tell us about your page, we'll list it on ours.

Please, help us to attract new players, and ensure the future life of Fed.
