WACKY WORDS

Saturday November 1
by Squeeky

Four people came out to play Wacky Words and we had an exciting game, where I give out words and contestants come up with phrases that use the letters in the word as their initial letters. This week, the theme of the night was talking mobiles in Sol which Andrew guessed.

VICTOR from Earth gave us these phrases:
Gandroid, "Verely, I can trade often, really!"
Shrevo, "venus is centered to orbit right"
Andrew, "Vanity is constant Theory on Rhea"
Jazir, "Vidicasters in coolers, terrible on reflection"

Phobos' TRACEY saw the players come back with:
Gandroid, "To Rhea! Artichokes can't escape you."
Andrew, "tracking rodents around center escapes you"
Jazir, "Tquarks race across cases, even yours."
Shrevo, "total rads are certainly extra yummy"

DIESEL, everybody's favorite Martian, resulting in:
Jazir, "Drats. Idiots easily sieze every lub-oil"
Gandroid, "Don't ignore extra special exchange leaks."
Andrew, "Did Inxs escape sentencing each lie"

When I gave the word BLYTHE, from Magellan, the players responded with:
Gandroid, "blue lanzarik yellows the hue evenly"
Andrew, "black lights, yellow, true hype engaged"
Jazir, "Biting libraries, your teeth hurt eventually"
Shrevo, "build libs your test here ends"

And with the last word of the night, the WEEBLE on titan:
Andrew, "walk east, eastern, blind luck exsist"
Shrevo, "western end enables buyers long encounters"
Gandroid, "Will everyone ever believe last evening?"
Jazir, "Women, everyone everywhere buys lotsa emeralds"

When the game was done, I tallied up the scores, and coming in first was Jazir with 14 points; tying for second was Gandroid and Shrevo with 8 points; and in third was Andrew with 6 points.

Join me next time for another game of Wacky Words, which alternates with Fed Word Scramble on Saturday nights at 10.00pm eastern.
