REAL LIFE NEWS: NATURE IMITATES EMOTICONS

Scientists have reported recently on a rare species of spider, found in Hawaii, that has evolved bizarre markings that looks just like a smiley face. They think the markings confuse predators. Yeah, I am sure they do!

It's called the theridion grallator, or the happy-faced spider, and it's harmless to humans. Take a look at a picture here.
