Remember the excuses you used to come up with for not handing in written work... "the dog ate my homework" and so on. They don't work so well now you have to submit things electronically. "The dog ate my memory stick" doesn't quite have the same ring of truth to it.

So here's the digital version of the excuse: corrupted-files.com. They sell you corrupted files that you can send as an attachment to your email. Here's my report, you say, and by the time the recipient has checked out the file and then mailed you back to say that it seems to contain scrambled data, you will have had time to finish the assignment and send the real file.
