REAL LIFE NEWS: UK GOV ISSUES TWITTER MANUAL

The UK Government has decided that Twitter is a good thing and has issued guidelines to various government departments on how to use it. The trouble is, the strategy paper for how to send 140 character messages is a 20-page document.

It comes out at 5,382 words, which translates into 36,215 characters and spaces. That's the equivalent of 259 separate tweets.

The mind boggles!
