REAL LIFE NEWS: MOBILE PHONE ETIQUETTE

A new guide to the etiquette of using your mobile phone has been published by Intel, based on research carried out by Harris Interactive. They interviewed Americans to ask them for their views on what is acceptable use of a phone, timing it to the run-up to the holiday period (with Thanksgiving less than a month away).

The results? 80% of Americans feel that there are "unwritten rules of etiquette". Well, now those rules are no longer unwritten!

69% agree that checking your emails, sending text messages or making calls when you are in company are all unacceptable.
