Did you hear the recent story about the geek who proposed to his girlfriend by building a special customized level in the Super Mario World game, which contained the message "Lisa Will You Marry Me?". Awww. How sweet. Thankfully, after he had put in all that work, she said yes.

Cnet News has a round-up of other geeky marriage proposals, which include publishing the question in a blog, sending it as a tweet, and even defacing an iPod. My favorite is the patent application for a method of proposing marriage.
