HAPPY NEW YEAR

by Hazed

The Fed2 Star returns, the newsdroids are refreshed after their break and they're raring to go, bringing you all the latest news from Fed DataSpace.

While we were gone, the most miserable droid in the Galaxy send out two bulletins to keep you updated on what was occurring. The main news was that Plutocrats were given the power to set customs duties, and they got a cartel treasury to go with it.

If you missed the bulletins, you can read them here.

Honesty, what a moaner! No wonder nobody in the Fed2 Star office wants to talk to this droid.

All of the extra stuff added to Sol for Christmas will be going away in a couple of days time - so if you haven't yet helped yourself to a toy from Santa's Grotto on Earth, or had a snowball fight on the roof of Chez Diesel on Mars, you'd better do it now or you will miss out.

The Scrooge charm on sale at Gallaghers will continue to be available until the end of the month, when it will be replaced by a new charm for February.

And so as the UK shivers in the grip of a cold, cold winter*, here's wishing all our players a very happy new year!

* Yes, I know it's not that cold compared to some of the places our players live, but England is supposed to be a green and pleasant land, not a white and frozen one. Just take a look at this satellite photo.

Brrrr!

Stop press: snow daleks are taking over! Many websites that publish galleries of user pictures have been showing us snow daleks made by the geeks of the world. Here's one example - to see more, just type snow dalek into google.
