AUCTION OF THE WEEK: THE TARDISby HazedIf you're a Dr Who fan, which I am, then you'll be wishing you had a spare £8,000 - 12,000 or so (that's around $12,000 to $18,000) because that's the expected price for an item going under the hammer soon - a TARDIS. For those who are not Dr Who fans, TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space, and it's a time machine and a spaceship which is bigger on the inside than the outside. From outside, it looks like a police telephone box, of the kind you used to see on the streets of London cities last century. What's being auctioned is a prop from the 2005 series, when Christopher Ecclestone played the ninth doctor. And I really, really want to have this standing in the corner of my living room! Look at the details here. |
