INDEPENDENCE DAY PROMPTS NEW CHARM FROM GALLAGHER'S

Today, July 4, is Independence Day which on old pre-space Earth was an important national celebration for citizens of the United States of America, the country which provided the driving force behind the colonization of the Solar System and, later, the Galaxy.

So to commemorate this day, the new charm on sale from Gallagher's shop on Earth is a red, white and blue streamer. It costs one slithy tove, and will be on sale for about a month. Buy it with 'BUY STREAMER'.

Once it is in your possesion, 'CLIP STREAMER CHARM' will attach it to your keyring so all those who look at you will be able to see it. 'WAVE STREAMER CHARM' will activate it.

Last month's charm, the black hole, is no longer officially available, but regular readers will know by now that the assistant in the shop always holds back a few of these exclusive items each month and will continue to sell them to you, without her boss' permission, for two slithy toves. Presumably both those slithies go straight into her wallet. If you want to condone her theft of Anton Gallagher's goods, you can buy one with 'BUY BLACK HOLE'.
