REAL LIFE NEWS: DOG THREAT BACKFIRES

Whether female dogs are smartest or not, sometimes dogs can seem more intelligent than their human owners.

A man from Pembroke Dock in Wales recently tried to use his dog as a weapon but the pooch didn't cooperate - instead it just pooped on the floor!

Nathan KIenrick, 23 years old, had been drinking in the Bush Tavern but got a bit rowdy. When the door supervisor spoke to him about his behavior, he walked off shouting that he would fight the bouncers, fight "all those boys", and that he was going to get his dog.

He came back with a rottweiler-type dog and ordered it to attack somebody. But the dog wasn't having any of this; it "simply sat there and defecated". Sensible dog.

Kenrick was charged with a public order offence of "using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior with intent to cause belief that violence would be used" - in other words, threatening violence. He has been bound over to keep the peace.

There's no word on whether he gets to keep the deadly weapon - the dog!
