REAL LIFE NEWS: SEE, I TOLD YOU COFFEE WAS GOOD FOR YOU

by Hazed

A new study published this week indicates that drinking coffee - lots of coffee - could help stave off prostate cancer.

The survey, which lasted more than 20 years, looked at 47,9111 men in the US. During this time 5,035 of them developed prostate cancer. 642 went on to die from the disease.

Analysis of the survey data, which examined the men's lifestyles, showed that those who drank the most coffee had a 20% lower risk of developing prostate cancer. These coffee-swillers also had a much lower chance of prostate cancer actually killing them if they did contract it.

Whatever causes this, it's not the caffeine, because the effect showed up in those drinking decaf too. So put the kettle on!
