WHAT CAN YOU DISPLAY IN YOUR CABINET?

by Hazed

The basic idea of display cabinets is to have somewhere to keep your belongings safely. After all, there is a limit to how much you can carry in your inventory, and although ship's lockers provide secure storage right now, once ship fighting comes back then when your ship gets blown up, so will anything it is carrying.

For that, you don't need a display cabinet so much as a secure vault!

The fact that you don't just shove everything into a lockable crate means that you can also show off your valuables. If you have completed the black run on the icy mountains of Titan, and been given a souvenir snow globe, isn't it nice to be able to display it so everyone else can see? And if you've used valuable slithy toves to purchase charms, then it's good to show those off too.

But it doesn't stop there. Have you considered creating objects on your planet specifically to go into your display cabinet? Maybe your workthings have declared you the Galaxy's Best Boss. A trophy on display in your cabinet would let everyone else know how loved you are by your populace.

Or you could make an object to give to another player for their display. A mug with their face on, proclaiming them the Galaxy's Gorgeousest Being would be a lovely token of your esteem they would be proud to display.

If you plan a puzzle on your planet, you may have a prize on offer to the first person to solve it. You could put it in your cabinet to whet people's appetite.

I am sure you can think of many other ideas, too - Fedders are renowned for their ingenuity.
