ALAN'S NEW HOME

Last week we published a rather soggy report from Bella's bathroom, ducking the virtual loofer which she was wielding like a conductors baton while she talked. The report explained what Alan is doing to prepare the Fed2 code for its forthcoming move off the physical server and onto the cloud.

The good news is that all the changes have been made, and the new code is ready to be put into the game.

The bad news is that the intention to put the new code in tomorrow has been stymied because Alan and Barb are about to move to a new flat! The next week will be spent packing boxes, ferrying them three miles down the road, then unpacking them again. Preferably without breaking anything on the way.

Anyone who has moved house will know how much stress and hard work is involved, so you will understand that it's going to delay any work on Fed2. By next weekend the move should have been completed, so I'll be able to tell you when the new code will be deployed.
