ALL QUIET

As I write this, on Saturday afternoon, I don't know whether Our Illustrious Leader is going to send me a Winding Down for this edition of the Fed2 Star. I do know that there is nothing further to report on the process of making code changes to prepare for the move to the cloud, and that Bella is completely unable to put any new planets into the game right now.

The reason, as you know if you read last week's Star, is that Alan and Barb are in the process of moving. Right now, most of their belongings are packed in boxes - including the development computer that Alan uses to put in new planets. They are currently a two-home family as they ferry the boxes from the old pad to the new one. They plan to complete the move early next week, at which point the reverse process of unpacking all the boxes will commence.

They will have to wait for the phone company to turn on the phone line and activate the broadband connection at the new place, so Alan may not be able to get online at all for a few days.

So I really don't have anything to tell you this week: no news about Fed, just some real life news stories including some Valentine's Day gift ideas.
