As I continue my conversion of the pages on the ibgames website to its new format, I keep on finding stuff I had completely forgotten about.
Like these:
Restoration comedy – an exchange of emails between myself and a rather insistent player over the issue of restoring his characters following the huge mega-smash persona wipeout a few years ago.
StarBase1 References – have you visited StarBase1, Ming’s old space station situated in a remote corner of the Solar System? If you have you may have noticed that the locations are full of strange references to old Earth culture. Here’s a list of those science fiction books (and movies).
Martians and Horsell – the old Duke puzzle was based on H G Wells’ book War of the Worlds, in which the Martians land on Horsell Common, near Woking, to the south of London. These two links show you the Martians in Woking, and what Horsell looks like today.
