REAL LIFE NEWS: DEATH THREATS BY TEXT

If you received a text message from a stranger, saying that they had been paid to kills you, but they wouldn’t go through with it if you sent them money, what would you do?
A rather nasty set of scammers in Australia are hoping you’d pay up. Police forces around Australia say they’ve had hundreds of phone queries about the messages which say:
“Someone paid me to kill you, get spared, 48 hours to pay $5000.00 if you inform police or anybody death is promised. Email me now”
But you can bet someone out there has fallen for it – just as some people still fall for the “I’ll give you lots of money if you give me your bank details” type scams.
Suckers continue to be born with great frequency.
