ENTERPRISING COPS OF THE WEEK

Police in Connecticut recently hit on a novel way to coax out criminals: they barked like dogs.
The cops had cornered a couple of masked burglars in a property and figured that the best way to get them out would be to use a K9 unit. They threatened the criminals that if they didn’t surrender, they’d release the hounds.
Only trouble was, they didn’t actually have any dogs available! So they improvised, and started to bark and growl, pretending that the dogs were ready to tear the thieves limb from limb.
And you know what? It worked! The guys heard the cops barking, emerged from the house, and surrendered.
