REAL LIFE NEWS: FLYING FOOD

If you visit a sushi restaurant you’re probably used to having your food delivered on a conveyer belt. But diners in a London branch of the Yo! Sushi chain recently had their rice burgers delivered on a flying tray.
The iTray is a lightweight, carbon fibre drone that has a range of 50 metres, and can travel at up to 11 metres per second - that’s 25 mph. It’s guided by the staff at the restaurant using an iPad app.
The stunt was part of the launch of the restaurant chain’s first burger.
Now that the iTray has been tested, it could be seen in more of their branches next year.
Now I don’t like sushi, but I’d be prepared to choke some down in order to have my dinner delivered this way!
