NEWSDROID HOLIDAY

The newsdroids are all excited as they put the finishing touches to this issue of the Fed2 Star, because they are off on their holiday. They have all been given invitations to visit a new droid health spa on the vacation asteroid, Hamburga, which is right off the beaten track and can only be reached by the special transport liners run by the resort. Try to fly there in your ordinary cargo ship and you just won’t be able to find it.
Once there, the droids will be able to unwind, relax and de-stress while trying a variety of treatments, including bathing in hot oil, rust exfoliation, micrometallobrasion and torso polishing. They are receiving all this pampering for free – I think the spa expects them to write a favourable review of the facilities in the Star. Well, we’ll see about that!
I will be taking a vacation as well, relaxing in my own personal pleasure palace at the far end of the Solar System. Diesel has been warned to expect a drop of profits due to my absence from her bar.
The Star will be back on Sunday September 8.
