TRYING OUT NEW INSTALLATION PROGRAMS

If you have been wondering what has happened to the new location editor which Alan has been working on for what seems like the last century, the hold-up in releasing it has been caused by the utter crapness of the installation program that comes with Alan’s development tools. Despite a lot of work, he couldn’t figure out how to make it do everything it was supposed to do. So he’s junked it and is trying different programs.
The good news is that he’s found one that works well, is easy for you to use when you want to install the editor and does exactly what we want. So by the time the Star comes back in two weeks, we should have the program ready for release.
Assuming nothing else goes wrong…
