REAL LIFE NEWS: CERES UPDATE AND FLYOVER ANIMATION

A new animation showing a flight over a mountain on Ceres has been released.
As the Dawn spacecraft moves into a closer orbit around the dwarf planet, it is able to record even more detail about the surface of the body. It’s currently spiralling to within 900 miles of Ceres, three times closer than its previous orbit, and by mid-August it will be able to resume its observation.
Meanwhile, scientists are going through the existing data and using it to generate detailed digital terrain models.
The animation, which you can see at the source link below, shows the tallest mountain on Ceres.
