NEWSDROIDS CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

As you read this issue of the Fed2 Star, the newsdroids are drinking their favourite Christmas tipple, oilynog, and singing festive songs in rather tuneless metallic voices. They tell me they’ve got a busy schedule of parties lined up for the next three weeks. I hope they don’t overdo it – I don’t look forward to having hungover droids in the office in January. They always clank and creak when they are under the weather.
I have booked myself a holiday in a quiet lakeside resort. I am staying at the Deja Vu Guest House. It’s funny, but although it’s my first time, I can’t help thinking I have stayed there before…
There will be no Fed2 Star for the next two weeks, then we’ll be back on January 8.
Alan and I wish all our players a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Enjoy your holidays, whatever your plans are.
Without the players, Fed would be nothing – a barren empty wasteland of bare locations, exchanges with tumbleweeds blowing through them, mobiles will nobody to perform for and waitdroids standing around holding undrunk beverages.
