PICTURE OF THE WEEK: COLOUR ENHANCED JUPITER STORMS
by Hazed
Jupiter’s dark spot was snapped in early February by the JunoCam on board the probe that is buzzing around the planet and its moons. It was taken at an altitude of 9,000 miles above the planet’s cloud tops.
The picture was then colour enhanced to bring out the rich detail in the storm and its clouds. The result is a pure work of art that would make great wallpaper for your computer screen.
