PICTURES OF THE WEEK: JUPITER
by Hazed
Cassini may have gone but Juno is continuing its mission to study another gas giant, Jupiter. It’s just sent back some gorgeous images of the planet. NASA puts the raw images from the JunoCam online so that anyone can process them to improve the images.
This new set come mostly from Juno’s latest flyby on September 1, where it came within 2,200 miles of the planet’s cloud tops.
