EASTER HOLIDAY NEWS BREAK

Easter comes early this year. It’s one of those holidays that bounces around, never on the same weekend from one year to the next, because it uses a very complex calculation to set the date. According to website http://crazycalculations.com/easter/index.php, “Easter day is the first Sunday after the 14th day of the lunar month (the nominal full moon) that falls on or after 21 March (nominally the day of the vernal equinox).”
That site gives a list of the dates for Easter in the next twenty years, from which we see the earliest that it falls is 25 March (in 2035), and the latest 21 April (next year, then again in 2030).
Anyway, because it’s Easter next weekend, the Fed2 Star will take a break to allow the newsdroids to take part in their traditional hunt for the oily eggs (which they use to make their favourite tipple, oily nog).
