NO NEWS NEXT WEEK

It’s time for a newsdroid holiday, to coincide with the May Day public holiday in the UK. This is a traditional English holiday that historically involves crowning a young woman as May Queen, dancing around a Maypole and Morris dancing (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_dance).
The droids are currently squabbling amongst themselves over which one of them will be the droid May queen this year. If they can’t resolve this between them I will have to step in and insist they settle things by rolling a dice. I couldn’t possibly decide for them – choosing between the three droids would be like Sophie’s Choice, or choosing which was my favourite cat. Impossible!
At this time of year it seems we have an abundance of bank holidays (as they are called on this side of the pond) – hot on the heels of Easter comes this day off on the first Monday in May, then another one at the end of the month (and yes, the droids will be skiving on for that one too).
We’ll be back in two weeks, on Sunday 13 May.
