DUMB CRIMINAL OF THE WEEK: DRIVER’S DASHCAM SHOWS HIM COMMITTING A CRIME

My sympathy for criminals of all kinds is at an all-time low right now as you can imagine, so I take even more malicious pleasure than usual in writing about a dumb criminal who was caught thanks to his own stupidity.
Xavier Inocencio Moran, a 25-year-old from Royal Palm Beach in Florida, was involved in a car crash. He told the sheriff he had been cut off by another driver, and he could prove it with the footage from his dashboard camera.
But as well as seeing video of the traffic incident, the cop also found footage that shows the car backing into a parking space outside Sally’s Beauty Supply store, taking a baseball bat from the car’s trunk, and using it to smash in the glass door.
It is alleged he then used the baseball bat to try to break into the safe. He has been arrested for the alleged burglary.
This isn’t the first time he’s been arrested: he was also involved in an incident in early April where he threatened his parents and brother with a gun. On that occasion, after he was arrested he allegedly ran off despite wearing handcuffs, jumped over a fence and attempted to hide behind some bushes.
Sounds like a despicable chap. Lock him up!
