Special Bulletin 3

Hello readers. Dot Matrix here with another bulletin bringing you the news hot off the press... well, lukewarm, maybe!

I am quite relieved that Bella has got back from her vacation and is now generating some news for me to tell you about. I've been really bored in the Fed2 Star office with nobody to talk to and nothing to do. A few days of that was nice and I appreciated the peace and quiet, the chance to relax and unwind. But now I've had enough and I need something to do.

So thank you, Bella, for giving me the material for this bulletin!

COMPANY CAP DEADLINE DECIDED

The Galactic Administration's despised taxman is already back in his office plotting mischief. I hear he only took a half day off to eat a festive meal with his family, before heading back to his desk to inflict misery on the rest of us.

He has now announced the date that he will start imposing the cap on company balances. It will come into effect at the reset on New Year's Day - that's next Tuesday. What a nice present for us all!

After that, company balances will not rise higher than 1 gigagroat - any excess money will be creamed off by the revenooers. You have been warned!

FOUNDER PLANET DEADLINE

In an attempt to beat the deadline, a lot of CEOs are planning to promote to Founder before their cash-rich companies are targetted by the taxman. In order to become a Founder before the company cap is imposed, your planet will need to go into the game for Monday's reset. This means you need to send the files in before you go to bed on Sunday night, so they are in Hazed's mailbox first thing Monday. She promises to check the planets before breakfast so those that are OK can get passed to Bella right away to go in the game that day.

Of course, leaving things to the last minute means that if there turns out to be a problem with your planet, and it's rejected, you are going to miss the deadline. So make sure you run the planet files through the Tesla planet checker before you send them in.

To be absolutely sure, get the files in earlier so there's time for you to make any modifications necessary. Or failing that, try to be in the game when Hazed is checking the files, so she can tell you in person what needs to be changed. That's going to be around 5.00am eastern, very early in the morning (or very late at night!).

Here endeth my third bulletin. I do hope I don't have to spend another week sitting around twiddling my digits - being made out of metal they don't exactly bend very easily!
