BATTLE OF THE GAME DESIGNERS

On October 25th 1997, ibgames played host to a special seminar addressing the issues involved with designing a multi-player game.

The two speakers were none other than multi-player game designers Alan Lenton and Jim Dunnigan. Alan Lenton, is the designer and creator of Federation and the soon-to-be-released Age of Adventure and Barbarossa; Jim Dunnigan, has designed many strategy and war games including the multi-player game Hundred Years War. The Battle of the Game Designers was chaired by Scorpia, one of the leading lights of adventure game publishing, who tried to stop the guys biting each other's ears off.
